Kurjanto Slamet graduated with Honours in 1997 from the School of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. Upon graduation, he worked on complex projects in various typologies at a corporate practice, some of which have been awarded in international competitions.
Kurjanto is a registered architect with the Board of Architects in Singapore, and became a corporate member of the Singapore Institute of Architects in 2002. He is also a Registered ASEAN Architect and QP in Indonesia. He led the design of the award-winning Al-Ansar Mosque, which was completed in 2015. Another project, House at Jalan Siap, built using recycled materials, was recognised in the Cityscape Dubai in 2011. One of his latest project, Kamala Kandara was shortlisted in World Architecture Festival in 2017 under Future Residential Category.
As Director at ONG&ONG, Kurjanto heads the firm's Indonesia country office. His completed cross-disciplinary projects in Indonesia includes Marvell City, a 2.5 hectare 'Super Block Development' in Surabaya, Gold Coast at PIK, Renaissance by Marriott in Bali, and Kamala Kandara. at Jakarta His other portfolio includes hospitality projects in Cameroon, Japan, and Timor Leste.
